With over 15 years of experience in working with children, youth, adults, and families, Trisha brings her passion to supporting individuals from various walks of life to promote empowerment, resilience, and serenity in their day-to-day lives.
Trisha’s extensive background and empathetic approach have enabled countless individuals and families to navigate through some of life’s toughest challenges. She is known for her skillful listening and calm, welcoming style, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can feel comfortable and authentic. Trisha’s therapeutic approach draws from various evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Strength-Based Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Therapy. This diverse toolkit allows Trisha to tailor her methods to meet the unique needs of each individual client.
Trisha holds a Master of Social Work degree from York University; she regularly participates in various mental health trainings. Trisha is a Registered Social Worker with membership in the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, the Ontario Association of Social Workers, and the National Anger Management Association. Outside of her professional life, Trisha enjoys taking relaxing walks outdoors, exploring new restaurants, and watching a good movie. These activities provide her with balance and rejuvenation, enabling her to bring fresh energy and perspective to her work with clients.
